National Council on Privatization

 

The National Council on Privatisation (NCP) is charged with overseeing theprivatisation and commercialisation of public enterprises.

The NCP is chaired by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo. 

Other members include Abubakar Malami, the Attorney General of the Federation; Okechukwu Enelamah, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment; Udo Udoma, Minister of National Planning; Boss Mustapha, Secretary to the Government of the Federation; Godwin Emefiele, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria; Adeyemi Dipeolu, Special Adviser to the President on Economic Matters; Ituah Ighodalo; Ghandi Olaoye; A.A. Ibrahim; Bashir Gwandu; and Alex Okoh, Director General of the Bureau of Public Enterprises, who serves as the Council’s Secretary.

The Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) serves as the Secretariat of the Council.

The fifth Council was inaugurated by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on June 22, 2017.
