President Bola Tinubu rejoices with Mr John Dara, Chairman of African Development Investment Limited and a personal assistant to Chief Michael Otedola, a former governor of Lagos, on his 70th birthday.

Dara, also a pastor, was the presidential candidate of the Alliance of Social Democrats (ASD) in 2019.

The President joins family, friends, and well-wishers in celebrating the accomplished management consultant and political and social activist known for his dedication to national transformation through democracy, economic growth, and industrialisation.

President Tinubu acknowledges Mr. Dara’s contributions to political reform, national unity, and governance and highlights his enduring roles in addressing key national issues such as restructuring, federalism, resource control, and security.

He commends Mr Dara’s consistent pursuit of reform through his roles as a resource person in the 1988 Constituent Assembly, membership in the Vision 2010 Committee, and participation as a delegate at the 2005 National Political Reform Conference and 2014 National Conference.

The President salutes Mr Dara’s courage, intellect, and enduring belief in Nigeria’s future, praying that the years ahead bring him strength, fulfilment, renewed hope and opportunities to continue his service to the nation.
