PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES GOVERNOR AHMADU UMARU FINTIRI ON HIS BIRTHDAY

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu congratulates the Right Honourable Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the governor of Adamawa State, on his birthday today, October 27.

Fintiri had held several leadership positions in the House of Assembly, including the speakership, before being elected governor of Adamawa in 2019. He won re-election in 2023.

The President joins family and friends to celebrate the astute administrator and politician under whose stewardship Adamawa has witnessed significant transformation.

President Tinubu commends the governor for his people-centred leadership, infrastructure drive, and promotion of dialogue and peaceful coexistence among the people of Adamawa.

He also lauds Governor Fintiri’s empowerment scheme for small-scale entrepreneurs, along with other schemes in agriculture and youth development.

“I congratulate Fintiri on this special occasion. I admire his peace-building initiatives and efforts to give everyone in the state a voice. He has proven himself to be a formidable force in Adamawa politics and beyond, and I wish him even more accomplishments and many more years in good health,” the President says.
