TEMITOPE PETER FASHEDEMI
Mr. Temitope Peter Fashedemi hails from Ondo State.
He obtained his B.Sc (Combined Honors) in Computer Science and Economics from the Obafemi Awolowo University and Executive MBA from the Lagos Business School. He is also a Professional Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered).
Temitope started his professional career in the Private Sector as a Network Engineer and Internet Specialist. He is well known in the Information Communications Technology Telecommunications sector, having participated actively in the early days of Internet adoption in Nigeria and subsequent liberalization of the sector.
Before joining the Civil Service, Temitope had 16 years industry experience, 10 years of which was in Senior and Executive management roles. He was a member of the Board of Galaxy Backbone Ltd. and previously served as a member of the Board of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) (Nov 2013-Aug 2015). He was appointed Director on 3rd June, 2013.
As Director e-Government in the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy, he was responsible for driving the adoption of e-Government in fulfilment of the Ministry’s mandate.
He was appointed Permanent Secretary in 2019 and posted to Special Duties Office in the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation. He also served in the ministries of Police Affairs, Power as well as Agriculture and Food Security before his posting to the State House.
