PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES NALDA EXECUTIVE SECRETARY, ENGR. CORNELIUS OLUSEGUN, AT 40

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu sends warm greetings to the Executive Secretary of the National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA), Engr. Cornelius Adebayo Olusegun, on his 40th birthday, acknowledges his commitment to agricultural transformation.

President Tinubu notes with satisfaction NALDA’s ongoing cultivation of over 3,500 hectares of farmland nationwide, describing the initiative as a significant contribution to the administration’s efforts to strengthen food security, boost local food production, and support economic growth.

The President says Adebayo’s achievements reflect the vision of a new generation of public sector leaders who are committed to innovation, accountability, and results-driven governance.

He also commends the Executive Secretary for the remarkable reforms he has championed at NALDA, particularly in empowering over 5,000 smallholder farmers through farm mechanisation programmes, thereby enhancing productivity and improving livelihoods across rural communities, as well as engaging more than 500 youths in Climate-Smart Agriculture.

“As you mark this 40th year milestone, I commend your passion, dedication, and commitment to the development of Nigeria’s agricultural sector. Your work at NALDA is helping to unlock the vast potential of our agricultural resources and improve the lives of thousands of Nigerians.

“I pray that Almighty God will continue to strengthen you with good health, wisdom, and greater accomplishments in the years ahead”, the President says.
