PRESIDENT TINUBU FELICITATES HON. BABATUNDE ALADE BALOGUN AT 75

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended his birthday wishes to Honourable Babatunde Alade Balogun, a former commissioner and Lagos State APC Chairman, on his 75th birthday.

President Bola Tinubu celebrates Hon. Balogun, an eminent member of the Lagos State Governor’s Advisory Council, as a steadfast progressive and seasoned administrator whose decades of service have contributed meaningfully to the political organisation and governance of Lagos State.

In his message, President Tinubu recalled Balogun’s tenure as Commissioner for Commerce and Industry during his administration as Governor of Lagos State, where he supported policies that strengthened commercial activity and industrial development in the state.

He also acknowledges Balogun’s subsequent service as Commissioner for Home Affairs and Culture under Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola, where he helped promote cultural understanding, interfaith harmony, and community engagement.

The President further notes Hon. Balogun’s leadership within the All Progressives Congress, particularly his role as Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the party, during which he helped consolidate party structures and deepen organisational stability across the state.

President Tinubu commends his continued service as a member of the Lagos State Governor’s Advisory Council, where his experience, wisdom, and institutional knowledge continue to support strategic guidance and policy direction.

As Hon. Babatunde Alade Balogun marks this milestone 75th birthday, the President prays that Almighty God will continue to grant him good health, strength, and many more years of fulfilment in service to Lagos State and the nation.
