PRESIDENT TINUBU MOURNS DEVOTED COMMUNITY LEADER CHIEF MOSES ADEDIRAN ADEGBITE

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu expresses sorrow over the passing of Chief Moses Adediran Adegbite, a devoted Christian and community leader.

Chief Adegbite, father of Bishop Stephen Adegbite, the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC), died at 86.

President Tinubu describes the deceased as a respected patriarch whose life was marked by humility, dedication to family, and service to humanity.

President Tinubu remarks: “Chief Adegbite’s legacy of integrity, faith, and moral uprightness will continue to inspire generations.

” I commiserate with Bishop Adigbite, who is also Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Lagos State Chapter, as well as other members of the family at this moment of profound personal loss. I pray that Almighty God will grant them the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

“As the remains of Chief Moses Adediran Adegbite are interred on Friday, January 30, 2026, I pray that Almighty God will repose his soul,” the President adds.
